West Virginia Chapters
Posted on National Intervention Coordinating Committees by Taryn Filha · March 31, 2022 3:19 PMThe need for intervention work, both political and economic, in West Virginia is more urgent than ever. The same CEOs that withhold millions of dollars in coal miners' wages have also bought our government and left our communities behind. Few have suffered the abuse of the "Gross Domestic Violence" in our nation's addiction to wealth and power than they care about us ordinary West Virginians and our families. Our elected officials have proven they care more about the corporations who pay for their campaigns and their personal wealth than they care about us. Do we keep taking it? No! We're breaking up with anyone who managed to prove they not using and abusing our wealth and power against us. Illinois Chapters
Posted on National Intervention Coordinating Committees by Taryn Filha · March 31, 2022 2:57 PMAll over the state, and we are looking to build as many student and community Coordinating Committee chapters as we can this year! Everyday, ordinary volunteers have talked to tens of thousands of Illinois voters to make sure they know about sober candidates on their ballots. The great success of our programs and the history-making ripples of our work has sparked a lot of excitement statewide! We're getting the Sobriety Test to our candidates and growing our organization in every congressional district where chapters are growing or forming. We're no strangers to the corrupting effects of greed addiction in our state's political system. The need for new chapters to organize, test the candidates, challenge those who use and abuse our power against us, and to solidify our path to a healthy place for our power to fuel our needs, not feed the greed that robs us everyday here in Illinois and all over the country. Let us know if you'd like to participate in forming a new local group, joining an existing group, or partnering your organization with National Intervention with SNICCIL or NICCIL teams! The beginning is near...
