National Intervention's 2026 Candidate Tracker Shows Half a Billion Dollars Already Raised for Over 1,000 Candidates for Congress

According to the most recent comprehensive statistical summary from the FEC, the breakdown of candidates who have reported financial activity or filed statements of candidacy is as follows:

• U.S. House of Representatives: 951 candidates. All 435 voting districts and five non-voting delegate seats are up for election on November 3, 2026.
• U.S. Senate: 117 candidates. There are 35 seats contested in 2026, including 33 regular Class 2 seats and 2 special elections in Florida and Ohio.

In some of the closest House and Senate races in the country, a handful of candidates have already committed to recovery from the addiction to wealth and power in our electoral system. 

While United States plunges further into authoritarianism, many in Congress have failed to uphold the checks and balances of their branch of government. Too often, elected officials are promised more investment in their campaigns if they stay silent while wealth and power are solidified in the hands of only a few billionaires and industries. If those corporate interests are challenged by an elected official or candidate, the alternative promise is an avalanche of spending against them. 

That's why right now, National Intervention is inviting constituents everywhere to continue to present the Official Sobriety Test for greed addiction to candidates in their congressional districts and state races for US Senate.

Millions of non-voters have simply broken up with addicts who use and abuse our wealth and power against all of us.
