Maine Chapters

Here in Maine, we've fought for and won democratizing changes, from Ranked Choice Voting to making sure the richest pay their fair share. Drawing strong boundaries in our relationship to those addicted to wealth and power is like a standing on high-speed treadmill: We have to work harder and go faster because just standing in place means we all get thrown backward. Statewide and we are looking to build as many student and community Coordinating Committee chapters as we can. We've made so much progress as a state whose elections have national impact. Our chapters have recently had a lot of excitement about getting the Sobriety Test to our candidates, but we have a lot more to do if we want to see what recovery really can look like. Our statewide chapter trainings now online and easier than ever. There's a renewed need for new chapters to organize, test the candidates, challenge those who use and abuse our power against us, and to solidify our path to a healthy place for our power to fuel our needs, not feed the greed that robs us everyday here in Maine and all over the country.  Let us know if you'd like to participate in forming a new local group, joining an existing group, or partnering your organization with National Intervention in ME!  The beginning is near...
